Turning 24

7:19 AM

This post clearly only my thought lately. i've been feeling insecure about my age which is turning 24. And i just realize it is a big number!
The horror thing about turning older is "WHAT WILL YOU DO ABOUT YOUR LIFE?" . I mean, you can not answer with shrugging shoulder or pouting your lips and say "umm..i dont know". I was like that, sometimes i get lost.
But watching my friends and people around me growing so fast with their life, it makes me happy but crazily scared in the same way. They already decided something important for them in their whole life. Something like moving to another job, taking master degree with scholarship or just end up with biggest (and scariest) decision, MARRIED!
My parent do encourage me to get the best in my life. Even it is for the job, school, or boyfriend. Alhamdulilah i  have good job in great company also went to a great schools. But for the last one, boyfriend, i still cant figure out HOW or WHEN or WHY.

Marriage is the biggest step in people life. You'll give your body and soul even your time to another person and will fully devoted to him/her. but my question is "HOW DO YOU KNOW HE/SHE IS THE ONE?". How you could be so sure they're the one.
I've been dying to ask that question to my friends who will engaged or marry soon. How you make yourself clearly sure he/she is the one?
If your answer with "I just knew it" , i'm not buying it. Because feeling mostly only blinding us to see clearly. I've been in crappy relationships, and i thought he was the one, but you have no idea how devastated i am when i knew he clearly not.
Even you already in long relationship, i dont think it's clear enough to decided he/she is the one.
The movies i always watching give the term of The One sometimes in cheesy way. It is sweet but i dont think everyone get something like that. Still i can not figure out the term The One in real way.

My parent rarely talking about this matter, but because i think they know that in 2014 i'm going to  24 years old and i'm the first daughter, they start to asking "When will you get married?".
BANG!DANG! that question just hit my head hard. Because they always the one who answering the question from my big family about this matter. They were answer with term "She's too young, no no married still long way to go". And i'm happy because i didnt need to answer that question which is mostly scary for some people.
But now my parent are the one who asking the question. I COULD NOT ANSWER IT. I was just standing there with giggling and smile like idiot and said "umm...i dont know". Disaster!!

You can not force yourself to find "The one", I think they'll come unexpectedly in your life. But i think what you and i can do now is making ourselves better in every way. Al-Quran say that "A good woman is for a good man". And i am believing that.
Guess who never know that you'll meet the one today or a year later. But just hope they'll come sooner :p

Have a great weeekend!

New Year, eh?

6:42 AM

Whoaaaa cant believe how fast time goes, 2013 will end soon! Surely it creep me out, i feel like still soooo many things i didn't do in this past year.
Let's make a new RESOLUTION for 2014. I'm not a "make-another-resolution-every-year" person. I just do my life flawless-ly. But because i'm turning 24 on '14, well i need something to do in my life (which is more serious things. ha! kidding :p )

i wont make hard resolution, i will make easy one but i'll do it everyday and continue.something like Less sugar for daily or taking exercise every week (this is a must do in my resolution). If it is too hard, i wont doing it (B type alert).

Actually there are still so many things i want do on '14 but who knows my list will keep going on and on.
Have a great holiday gateway!

See You Soon Iena's Party

12:44 PM

Our friends, Iena will move to Bandung this week. So she asked me to throw her some so called Farewell party last weekend. I made the invitation and the decoration from the scratch! Happy and proud gals for a day because my friends told me it was sooo good.
This monochrome party was inspired by this blog from Elsie and Emma. I decided to bring some color with these colorful chocolate candy. I made shout out paper for the photoshoot session, it was fun!

Geography of Bliss

9:17 PM

I just bought books today. Because of boredom (mostly because there's nothing i could watch in my notebook) and i gave up read Unfinished Tales from Tolkien. Seriously, i prefer somebody told me whats the story was :p . You know, Tolkiens's language is kinda ummm.. hard to understand. I keep read it in Elf voice and picturing them as Legolas, which is very pleasing for the eyes but not for understanding the book.

So i just went to bookstore and choose randomly two books. I bought Detective Conan, because i havent read it in years i think. I just wanna know how the story goes so far but well Shinichi still in a kid disguise.

Second, i bought Geography of Bliss : One Grump's Search for the Happiest Places in the World. Mostly the books tell about Eric (the writer) who travels all around the world just want to know about happiness. He questioning about happiness itself. He think that what define a happy people or happy country. When he was in Netherlands, he met a guy who has some "code" and experiment about measuring how happiness are.

Eric found out that happiness cant just defined by some random samples or numbers. It depends with people instead. Example, in Switzerland, their people happy because they have a very clean toilet. It said that Switzerland is the most democratic country in the world. But in Iceland, which a very freezing country and just far from everywhere, is included as some of happiest country in the world.
This book teaches about happiness, traveling and understanding the different cultures in each country. Eric told us with some not-serious-boring-literature words. He puts so many jokes here and there but also makes us thinking, "am i happy enough to get called as a happy person?"

Happy reading nerds,

My Day

4:36 PM

Hellooo aaah it's been awhile yes? I have several good news from last month. First, Alhamdulilah, i already work in PT Rekayasa Industri which currently based in Jakarta, so i have to move in to that city. Leaving my hometown since i was born, sometimes feels really sad. Well, that's life. If you can't adapt, you'll die.
I have some new experiences while i'm here, learn new things, meet new people, do crazy things. You can do anything while you're young right?

3DS team, yep i'm the only girl here

Have a good day :)
