Museum Geologi Bandung

8:10 AM

My special man friend told me that there's a T-Rex in Museum of Geology in Bandung. So we went there last Sunday to pay a visit my favorite Dinosaurs.
This museum is located in front of Taman Lansia. The ticket only cost IDR 3000, it's really cheap. It's so good to see many people choose to come to this museum. It was crowded with parents with their children. Well, mostly they want take pictures with this giant Mammoth skull, but still, they choose to go to museum instead other places.

And for you Bandung, where's the cool air? you were too hot yesterday.

Hong Kong Trip : Souvenirs

7:55 PM

One place to buy souvenirs is this famous Ladies Market in Mongkok. You could find everything there. Fun fact, they could speak Indonesian or even Javanese, i think because so many Indonesian people go there. It sounds seriously funny when the said " telu satus".
I forgot to take pictures what i bought there hahaha, but i'll list what you could bring to home from Ladies Market.

1. Snacks and Chocolate
This one is definitely must have items, right? If you bored with usual chocolate, you could buy oat milk (HKD 23/ pack). I bought 2 packs of them and my coworkers finished it in no time (no idea either they were hungry or it tastes really good).

2. Pen
I bought two packs of them (HKD 100/pack) because i dont like key chain, it's useless.

3. Keychain
They have plenty of it. But my favorite is food theme, like dimsum, noodle or even rice with meat on top of it.

4. Magnet for refrigerator
You could pick the HK theme or others, so many choice here.

5. T-shirt
Just be careful when buy T-shirt, because sometimes it has awful fabric. But fortunately we found one place that sell T-shirt with nice fabric with nice price also.

6. Chopstick
This would be great for souvenirs, but my wallet doesnt agree on it.

7. Figurine
I bought Naruto figurine for my special man-friend. Because he's been to HK, second is i've no idea what to give to him and i dont want it become "just usual". So figurine it is!

8. Character lego blocks
They sell various characters of lego blocks, i really wanted to buy one for me.

9. Umbrella
They sell cute umbrella everywhereee!

10. Porcelain meal set
If you want fancy thing, this would be great souvenirs for your boss or older colleagues or family.

Bargain it first, because they sell it half price higher than the actual price. Like you could have two packs of pen with that price instead of only one pack.

Hong Kong Trip : Food

2:55 PM

For Muslim like Suci and I, to find proper meals in HK could be very hard. Despite the pricey price, they mostly sell pork for meals. But better you pack instant noodle just in case you couldnt find anything to eat. But i will tell you what we eat while were in HK and Macau. But it's easier if you stay around Causeway Bay because mostly Indonesian people live there, so there's so many Halal food around.

Hong Kong
We need to walk around like half and hour just to find proper halal meals while we were in HK. For easy pick we went to McDonald or just bought bread and banana milk in Seven Eleven.

We had lunch in City Gate, and because everything has pork except Pepper Lunch, Suci and I bought Pepper Lunch (and it's cheaper than in my country, HKD 42). Mocin could eat pork so he ordered Baked Cheese Rice with Pork, looks yummy hahaha

We eat Halal Dimsum in HK Islamic Center. They have the best Dim sum(HKD 11 each) i've ever taste! Because we were super hungry, we ordered so many. They sell chinese food also. For weekend they sell dim sum for Muslim only. Around causeway bay you could find many Indonesian food if you miss proper eating.

Dont for get to try the famous mango dessert called Hui Lau Shan. You can find this everywhere!

We tried this bubble waffle also (HKD 15)

For dinner because we couldnt find place to eat, we found this small cafe around Jordan street (i forgot the name) without pork menu in it. Bismilaaah hopefully it's safe. We ordered pasta, mine taste good but not for Suci and mocin's.

We went to Disneyland that day so we eat that pricey meals :( Disneyland has Halal meal in Tahitian Terrace in Adventureland area and Explorer's Club Restaurant in Mystic Point area (HKD 102)

Hong Kong Trip : The Last Day

8:18 AM

Whoaaa it's the last day for our Hong Kong Trip. We were exhausted but happy. Because we need to caught plane that afternoon, we were only circling around Tsim Tsa Sui. We went to Hong Kong Museum of History. After paid HKD 10, we enter the museum. I love their museum, full with details and movies to show about each one of them.

I had fun in 6 days, but my most favorite day off course when we were in Disneyland. I'll post another post for food in Hong Kong, because it's really difficult to find Halal food in Hong Kong. See you (hopefully) soon HK, i love your weather.
